The mulcher is rated for trees up to about 8 inches across; the sweet spot is brush and trees up to about 6 inches. Bigger scattered trees can be cut and dealt with separately — we'll flag that in your quote.
No — mulching grinds everything down to ground level and leaves the roots in place. That's what keeps your soil intact and your cost down. If you need roots and stumps dug out (for example, for a building pad), that's excavation work, and we'll tell you honestly if that's what your project needs.
Some regrowth from the roots is normal, usually starting the following season. Most customers have us back every year or two for a fast, cheaper maintenance pass — ask about it at your walkthrough.
Most jobs run by the half-day or day. As a rough guide: small jobs start at $1,200, and most residential projects land between $1,200 and $4,000 depending on size and how thick the vegetation is. Send photos and we'll give you a real number, usually the same day.
For brush and small trees, almost always. A dozer rips out roots, topsoil and all, and leaves piles to burn or haul. Mulching grinds everything in place, protects the ground, and finishes in one visit. If your project truly needs a dozer, we'll say so.
No — as long as we've agreed on the work area and access, you don't need to be there. Most customers like to walk the property with us once before we start.
